Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, normalized email address, password hash, verification status, account role, team membership, session security records, policy consent, and administrative audit events. The app downloads published Tuesday questions and team information associated with your account.
What stays private
Forged Men does not send your journal entries, prayer requests, private commitment notes, weekly study responses, prayer focus, next steps, daily reflection, mood, or accountability check-in history to oaks-forge.com. Those features remain on your device.
How we use data
Account data is used to authenticate you, assign your Forge team, show weekly content, recover your account, protect the service, and support ministry administration. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing
Administrators can see account and team assignment information. Captains can see names and membership status for their own team, but not passwords, private app content, or another team's roster. External Oaks Church forms and surveys follow the privacy practices displayed on those services.
Retention and deletion
We retain your account while it is active and retain limited security logs as needed to protect the service. You may export your account record or permanently delete your account from the app or account page. Deletion removes your account, team membership, active sessions, and associated consent records except information we must retain for security or legal compliance.
Security and contact
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and session credentials are rotated. No internet service is risk-free. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
